University of Wisconsin - Parkside
Founded in 1968, UW-Parkside is located in Kenosha, Wisconsin and is set in the lush Petrifying Springs Moraine. Its 700-acre campus is an ecological showplace of forests, prairies, waterways, and wildlife. Over 5,000 students are enrolled in 30 undergraduate majors in the College of Arts and Sciences and the School of Business & Technology. Three graduate programs are offered, Business Administration, Applied Molecular Biology and Computer and Information Services. UW-Parkside is one of 13 degree-granting campuses on the University of Wisconsin System and is accredited by the North Central Association, the AACSB, and the American Chemical Society. The biological sciences program is a University of Wisconsin center of excellence and its premedical program has gained a national reputation.
